Summary

Data developed for the California Action Plan for implementation of Interior Secretarial Order 3362: Improving Habitat Quality in Western Big-Game Winter Range and Migration Corridors. SO 3362 directs federal bureaus within the Department of the Interior to work with western states to enhance and improve the quality of winter range and migration corridor habitat for big-game species including elk, mule deer, and pronghorn antelope on federal lands. State wildlife agencies were asked to identify five priority corridors and additional research needs as part of a state action plan. This shapefile includes the five priority areas identified for California.
