This dataset was created to capture the locations of all Steelhead Report Card projects in the State of California. The dataset enables geographic analyses of projects, aiding analysis of past trends and planning of future restoration work.

This dataset represents the locations of all ongoing and completed Steelhead Report Card projects.

Data quality report - Quantitative attribute accuracy
Evaluation method
Project locations are digitized in as much detail as possible based on the contractors' maps. The accuracy of the data depends, on a great extent, on the quality of the contractors' maps. Some projects without a map were digitized based on the written description of the project. These project locations have been synthesized into representative centerpoint locations.

Evaluation method
The data were checked to ensure that all features have unique ProjectIDs. The data were also checked to ensure that all locations have corresponding records in the California Habitat Restoration Project Database. These tests were performed in August 2010. These projects are Steelhead Catch Report Card project locations.

This shapefile contains point features representing centerpoints of ongoing and completed Steelhead Catch Report Card projects housed in the California Habitat Restoration Project Database.
